Andrew Splitz is a serial entrepreneur in healthcare IT. As a clinical lab technician and an early LIS technology pioneer, Splitz and his longtime business partner, Steve Pratt, were the first to implement a Cerner LIS system for Harvard Community Health Plan in 1988. Success implementing and maximizing the technology within the innovative healthcare system propelled the duo to found S&P Consultants in 1996 with the aim of bringing their integration experience to hospitals and labs around the country.
Once recognized by the industry’s top monitor (KLAS) as “the market leader in Cerner implementation” S&P Consultants counts many nationally leading healthcare systems among its clients. Today, Andrew is proud to lead S&P Universal Consulting, the firm’s global arm, and S&P Federal, which focuses on the United States. Andrew also founded Clinical Health Analytics (CHA) in 2015. The CHA Foundation Suite of software is a leap forward in leveraging the EMR to perform real-time analysis at point-of-care – and in practical case management.
In addition to his business duties, Splitz enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends.
